We are proud to invite you to the 2nd TANGO2 Family Conference June 26-28, 2022, in Orlando, Florida! The two and a half-day event is hosted by the TANGO2 Research Foundation and brings together the TANGO2 disease community for insights, fellowship and discussion.
For many families and children affected by the rare disease, the conference will be one of the first opportunities to meet and engage with other affected families. Building these relationships is vital for combining efforts to advocate for research, treatment, therapy for this rare disease.
The TANGO2 Research Foundation is incredibly thankful to have received a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative–as part of its Rare As One cohort– which designates funds for the specific purpose of hosting a family conference. The CZI grant will cover a large portion of the costs to attend the conference, including two nights hotel accommodations at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida and five meals for two days. The TANGO2 Research Foundation will provide childcare for families that need it.
Conference attendees will hear the most up-to-date information about TANGO2 from leading experts. We encourage family participation in the research planning process as it directly influences future research initiatives for TANGO2.
