The families of our TANGO2 warriors have been an immense source of support and outreach for their warriors and our cause. Just this week, David Longman organized a POKER FOR TANGO2 fundraising event to honor his son’s, Erling, journey living with TANGO2 disease as part of the Shine a Light on TANGO2 campaign.

Around 32 people came out to play and show their support.  The event allowed David to overshoot his fundraising goal of $4,000. Currently, he has raised $5,063 for the TANGO2 Research Foundation for the Shine a Light on TANGO2 campaign.

David Longman continues to support Erling’s TANGO2 journey in countless ways.  He said, “From the moment Erling was diagnosed I made a pledge to him that I would do everything in my power to keep him safe and give him a good life.”

David currently serves as an active member of the TANGO2 Research Foundation acting as the Regional Coordinator for Australia and New Zealand. He also sits on the Research and Community Outreach committees.
