The Charles Dickens holiday classic, a Christmas Carol, was the backdrop for a TANGO2 Research Foundation fundraiser held on November 30, 2018 in Turin, Italy. The show was performed by Varallo’s Company, a local non-profit theater company. The event was organized by Giorgio and Rashmi Pochettino, whose children Edoardo and Carlotta are affected by TANGO2 disease. The event raised close to $6,000 (5.700€) to benefit the TANGO2 Research Foundation (donations and tickets)

There were 400 people in attendance – mainly friends, relatives and colleagues of Giorgio and Rashmi. Prior to the show, Giorgio and Rashmi shared their children’s story, what research is currently underway and what their hopes are for the future.

Rashmi and Giorgio would like to thank: Varallo’s Company, in particular Marisa and Carla who proposed the staging of the performance, the many parents who sold many tickets and all the attendees.

The evening was an overwhelming success!!!
