The TANGO2 Research Foundation is committed to supporting researchers, clinicians and health care professionals working to advance knowledge of TANGO2 Deficiency Disorder. To help amplify and share their work, we are pleased to offer the T2RF Voices in Research & Clinical Care Travel Grant.

This grant provides up to $1,000 (USD) to support travel expenses for individuals presenting original research on TANGO2 Deficiency Disorder at a scientific or medical meeting, conference, or symposium.

This travel grant is designed to increase awareness of TDD-related research and clinical care, supporting investigators in building a foundation for future contributions to the field.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, individuals must meet the following requirements:


Must be:

  • A clinical, basic, or community healthcare professional and/or researcher with a terminal degree (MD, DO, Ph.D., NP, or international equivalent) working in an academic medical institution or nonprofit/research institution

OR

  • A medical student, resident, fellow, graduate student, or postdoctoral trainee currently enrolled in or affiliated with an accredited medical, academic institution or nonprofit/research institution
  • Located in the United States (U.S.) or Internationally
  • Not have received a T2RF Voices in Research & Clinical Care Travel Grant during the current calendar year (January 1st – December 31st)

Please note:

  • The Voices in Research & Clinical Care Travel Grant may be awarded no more than once per recipient per calendar year.
  • Voices in Research & Clinical Care Travel Grant funds may not be requested for attendance at the TANGO2 Family Conference or used in conjunction with other T2RF travel funding.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
  • T2RF will notify applicants of funding decisions via email within 30 days of application submission.
  • All Voices of Research & Clinical Care Travel Grant terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of T2RF.
