Last week, 145 TANGO2 families, staff, researchers, caregivers, speakers, and clinicians gathered at the stunning Disney Coronado Springs Resort for the third TANGO2 Family Conference, held from June 23rd to 25th. This exciting event featured a pizza and pool party, opportunities to participate in the Natural History Study, engaging speakers, interactive discussion sessions, and much more!
The conference emphasized the importance of patient and family engagement in research planning. Experts shared the latest developments on TANGO2 Disease, including updates on the ongoing Natural History Study. Attendees provided valuable input, helping shape future research initiatives for TANGO2 deficiency disorder.
This conference was a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, share experiences, and support each other. Families, doctors, and researchers worked together, fostering a sense of community and collaboration with the common goal of learning more about this disease.
In addition, we also celebrated the conclusion of our Shine a Light on TANGO2 Campaign! We raised a total of $97,039 (and still counting!) for TANGO2 research!
Thank you to everyone who fundraised, attended and contributed to making this conference a memorable and impactful event. Special thanks to the TANGO2 Research Foundation Board, staff, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and partners for making this event possible. We look forward to seeing you at the next TANGO2 Family Conference!
