We are thrilled to introduce Robin Mitchell as our new Outreach Committee Chair! Robin is the mother of Hanna, a TANGO2 warrior, and a passionate advocate.

Following Hanna’s diagnosis at age 27 after a life-threatening metabolic crisis, Robin became actively involved with the TANGO2 Research Foundation as a Regional Coordinator supporting families in her area. Recently retired after 32 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, she brings a wealth of healthcare experience and a strong commitment to family support. 

When asked about her favorite part of volunteering at T2RF, Robin shared: “Connecting with other TDD families and learning about new and exciting research that will someday reveal the mysteries of TANGO2 Deficiency Disorder.”

She looks forward to leading outreach efforts, connecting families, and staying updated on the latest TANGO2 research. We are grateful to have her on board!
