What is your connection to TANGO2? Why did you get involved?
I attended the TANGO2 Fundraiser in East Hampton CT. I was impressed with the dedication of the small group of volunteers and how much they have accomplished in a short time.
Tell us about you!
Mary Goetter is the Principal and Owner of International Education Services, LLC (“IES”). IES is an educational consulting firm specializing in global education and cultural awareness programming. Mary earned a degree in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she developed a disciplined approach to problem solving. An accomplished flautist, Mary served as the board president and manager of the Marietta Chamber Orchestra in Marietta, Ohio where she learned the art of grant writing which she shares with TANGO2 and other organizations.
What do you enjoy the most about being a volunteer for the TANGO2 Research Foundation?
Helping the organization to achieve its goals by accessing grant funding.
What is one thing you hope the TANGO2 Research Foundation will accomplish one day? (Feel free to dream big or keep it simple!)
To raise awareness of TANGO2 so that patients and their families can benefit from quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
