We are excited to celebrate this month’s Hero Highlight: Amy Clay! Amy has been a valued member of the TANGO2 community since 2017, serving on the Fundraising and Outreach Committees and as the East Regional Coordinator. As the mother of Katie, AKA DJ Icecat, a TANGO2 warrior, Amy found a sense of connection and understanding through the foundation that inspired her to give back and support others on a similar journey.
Professionally, Amy serves as an Information Technology Director with the Catholic Health System in Buffalo, New York, and currently resides in Rochester. She is also active in her community, volunteering with Special Olympics and Best Buddies and serving as Treasurer on the Board of the Rochester Ice Cats.
Whether through advocacy, volunteering, or sharing experiences, Amy is passionate about bringing people together and strengthening the support network for TANGO2 families. She remains hopeful for a future where earlier diagnosis and effective treatments change the path for those affected by TDD.
